Vocals Lesson FAQ
What age can my child start vocal lessons?
We accept vocal students as young as 4 years old. Young beginners focus on fun pitch exercises, musical games, and building confidence. Our teachers make every lesson age-appropriate and engaging.
Do I need any equipment for vocal lessons?
No equipment is needed! Your voice is your instrument. We provide everything during lessons, including pro headphones and a mixer for immersive studio-quality sound. We may recommend a practice microphone for home as students advance, but it’s never required.
How much do vocal lessons cost?
Vocal lessons are $40 per week (30-minute private sessions), billed monthly at $160–$200 depending on weeks in the month. There’s a one-time $60 enrollment fee. We also offer an Academy 30 package at $997 for 30 lessons (a savings of over $200).
How quickly will I see progress?
Most students notice improved pitch, range, and confidence within the first month of consistent lessons. After every lesson, your teacher sends a detailed note summarizing what was covered. Every 12 lessons, you’ll receive a progress video showcasing growth.
What styles of singing do you teach?
We teach all styles! Pop, R&B, musical theatre, classical, rock, jazz, country, and more. Our teachers tailor the repertoire and technique to your interests and goals from day one.
Do you accept Step-Up Scholarships?
Yes! We are a Step-Up Scholarship direct provider. Your scholarship can cover the enrollment fee and weekly vocal lessons — making music education completely free for qualifying families.
What if my child misses a lesson?
Cancel 24 hours in advance to reschedule at no charge. Last-minute? Take the lesson online via Zoom with pro cameras and sound. If the student can’t attend at all, the teacher records a short video recap so they don’t fall behind.
What makes your vocal lessons different?
Every lesson uses immersive studio-quality sound with pro headphones and mixers so students hear themselves like a recording artist. We track progress with lesson notes and videos. Plus, students get real performance opportunities at recitals, band shows with 600+ audience members, and even professionally filmed music videos.
