Piano Lesson FAQ
What age can my child start piano?
We accept piano students as young as 4 years old. Our teachers are experienced in making lessons fun and engaging for young learners while building a strong foundation.
Do I need a piano at home?
Having a keyboard at home for practice is strongly recommended. A basic 61-key keyboard is a great starting point — no need for a full acoustic piano to begin.
How much do piano lessons cost?
Piano lessons are $40 per week (30-minute private sessions), billed monthly at $160–$200 depending on weeks in the month. There’s a one-time $60 enrollment fee. We also offer an Academy 30 package at $997 for 30 lessons (a savings of over $200).
How quickly will I see progress?
Most students can play simple songs within the first month. After every lesson, your teacher sends a detailed note summarizing what was covered. Every 12 lessons, you’ll receive a progress video of your child.
Do you teach classical, pop, or both?
Both! Our teachers customize the curriculum based on your interests. We cover classical, pop, jazz, and more — whatever inspires the student most.
Do you accept Step-Up Scholarships?
Yes! We are a Step-Up Scholarship direct provider. Your scholarship can cover the enrollment fee and weekly piano lessons — making music education completely free for qualifying families.
What if my child misses a lesson?
Cancel 24 hours in advance to reschedule at no charge. Last-minute? Take the lesson online via Zoom with pro cameras and sound. If the student can’t attend at all, the teacher records a short video recap so they don’t fall behind.
What makes your piano lessons different?
Every lesson uses immersive studio-quality sound with pro headphones and mixers. We track progress with lesson notes and videos. Plus, students get real performance opportunities at recitals, band shows, and even professionally filmed music videos.
